Residual Displacement Control of ABC Columns with Iron-Based SMA Recentering Mechanism under Seismic Loads

Welcome to our website!  Highlights of a research project on the seismic performance of precast bridge columns with iron-based shape memory alloy (Fe-SMA) bars for recentering and with ABC socket connections are presented on this site.  The study is funded by Caltrans through grant number No. 65A0589.  However, the material and opinions presented on this site are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the views of Caltrans.
